- The objective of this project is to track spectral lines and ultimately determine the strength of the lines. To track the modulation of narrow peaks visible in the gravitational wave, the computer model that stimulates an interferometer, had to be set up. Then a test panel was created to control the parameters of the components that were added to the model as a way of comparing the coherence and uncertainty. The present work on the project shows that the model outcome uncertainty is consistent with the calculated uncertainty and the front end coherence may be used as a consistent diagnostic test tool. The future plan is to look at the behaviour of signals due to environmental noise and parametric instabilities, and improve methods of tracking them.
