The plan will be for CIT to make an absorption map of this, then Antonios at Bard will make a scatter map and we will look for defects at the scatter and absorption sites with our SEM. Both us and Bard are measuring other samples in parallel. Once you are done with this one, we may have you measure our sample for absorption to see if this carbon layer the SEM deposits impacts absorption. We will try to get you the second sample within your window when you can measure these.
It is from epi run 1233535, which is also the epi for the sample we have at AU, the 5 ppm sent to ERAU, and the 5 ppm sent to Bard. I think Ellie is sending the ERAU sample to Camille at Caltech to measure before they do at ERAU. I think they are going to try to make a Michelson work with AlGaAs mirrors, just because no one has done it, since there are a bunch of groups doing interferometric birefringence now (CSU Fullerton, Cardiff).
